Happy New Year Everyone! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas. After all that rushing around, we can't believe it is all over. The decorations are down, school has restarted and we're already two marbles short for Hungry Hippos!! January is a funny, grey time of year but the perfect time to think about the New Year ahead, and we are busy looking at next season's stock already. Do let us know if there is anything you would love to see, or if there is anything you missed out of. Now's the time to let us know, so we can make sure you don't miss out this time!

Spring isn't too far away, though knowing our weather system, we still have snow days to come first! After a mild start to the winter, the weatherman is forecasting a cold snap and if you haven't already stocked up on knitwear, hurry on over to the shop to see all our knitwear offers. For a limited period we have a sale on knitwear and the jam sets which we love with tights or long socks. Those jam sets are so versatile for visiting all your friends and family who will have the heating whacked up this time of year! Buy big enough and they'll last through to spring too!

Thank you to everyone who has been sending your photos in to us, We love seeing the photos on Instagram and Facebook. They're all so gorgeous! Please do keep sending them through. They've certainly brightened up our days! Until next month, happy shopping! BBxx

Hello November!

Finally the cold has come! After a lovely Bonfire Night we're seeing signs of Winter knocking at our door. I for one can't wait as I love the lead up to Christmas and a cold snap makes me feel very festive. I've been digging out my winter knits and my thick winter coat in preperation. Do you have your baby's knitwear sorted yet? If not, it isn't too late as we still have some left, but you'll need to be quick as some of the items have limited sizes left in stock.

Having a late Autumn baby myself, I really loved the two piece knitwear sets which were perfect for nappy changes in the winter months. No need to get them fully undressed, and having them get chilly and sad. It's also a lovely way to for the babies to join in with the family when they are too tiny for a proper festive knit. Our youngest went to see Father Christmas for the first time wearing a white knitted set with a grey trim. Perfectly matching the frosty weather outside! I love looking back at those photos now. He looks very angelic in Father Christmas' arms, and stands out against all the red! We have lots of white and grey pieces online now, so don't miss out. It's also not to late to pick up a coat. We have  a few padded sets left in pink and blue.

It's also not too late to buy your bits and pieces on a payment plan. All we need is 10% (or a greater amount of your choosing) to secure your items. You can then pay through PayPal as and when you like within the 6 week period. Please do make sure that if you want the pieces in time for Christmas, you allow enough time for them to be sent to you after paying the balance. We'll be updating you soon on last delivery dates for December.

We have heard from lots of our lovely customers recently. We so enjoy seeing your babies wearing the outfits. Please keep sending them in for us to share. Until next month, happy shopping! BB xx

Feeling a bit brrr!

Brrr! It's certainly starting to get chillier in the mornings now, but October has been bringing some lovely crisp days. I've been digging out my jumpers for the school run and looking ahead to my youngest's birthday. This time two years ago, I'd just started maternity leave and was finally getting round to putting together our hospital bag, with tiny white knitted outfits, to keep him warm and snuggly. The week after he was born was actually rather nippy and dreary, so I was very pleased to have a couple of sets to keep us going. Plus only having to remove a pair of knitted bottoms and undo the poppers on his vest, was far easier than undoing poppers on a babygro, and much warmer for him too!

Here at Bambino Bebé, we've been thinking a lot about knitwear too, and it seem so are a lot of you. Our pom pom knitted blue and white jam set has flown out of the shop, and we're trying very hard to get some more in for you all. (Keep an eye on Instagram and Facebook for news on this one). We have also got more long sleeve knitwear in, as the weather is starting to turn, including some gorgeous pom pom all in ones. Both my boys had knitted all in ones to get them through the winter. Nothing rubs, or rides up when they crawl or play making them ideal for the winter months when they feel the chill and their skin can be even more delicate.  October though can still be nice, With a bit more layering your little ones can still get the most of the lovely jam sets you bought last month. Our tights and socks come in a variety of colours and sizes and are lovely and soft, perfect to keep them going through October. Until next month, happy shopping! xx

New season excitement!

Firstly apologies for the lack of blog posts recently. It's been a hectic old Summer for all of us here at Bambino Bebé, especially for me! This summer we have been busy finding the best bits outfits for all of you. We've been doing a little erm, research in Spain (well possibly a holiday, but the shopping never really stops!!) and most excitingly, getting ready for the biggest Bebé to start Reception.

September is a lovely month. Normally still warm enough to enjoy being outside, but not too early to start thinking of winter. With photos of all the bigger children, looking smart in their new school clothes, I think it makes everyone want to smarten up and start planning their outfits for when the sun starts to fade. Autumn can be tricky though, but with clever layering, a top and jam pant set can work for this weeks mid 20's, and with tights or long socks and a matching cardigan for November's grey days. Later on this month our knitwear launches and we LOVE them! Let's not forget that Christmas isn't that far away. Some of those sets will be perfect for snuggly photos with Father Christmas and our tartan bits would be perfect for their Christmas parties.

Keep watching us on facebook and Instagram for sneak peeks and outfit ideas. Happy September shopping!! xxx

Bank Holiday Babies!

I love this time of year. Hopefully the days are lighter, warmer and summer no longer seems so far away. May is extra special for me, as around this time several years ago now (sniff!) I began my very first maternity leave and started to prepare my first baby's wardrobe. I didn't know what I was having, I had no idea what size my baby would be (small babies on my side, but my husband's family didn't make petite ones!) and the weather was crazy. One week chilly and wet and the next a heatwave! I really struggled though to find nice neutrals, which is why we've made sure that you have more choice than me and we also offer exchanges (and New Baby Gift Receipts) if you get the sizing wrong. The woollen pieces are ideal for cooler days like today and I love the soft trouser set with built in feet for new babies. Very easy for new parents to do nappy changes and soft enough for them to snooze in.

Luckily I was gifted some beautiful, white woollen outfits and purchased a few high street essentials, following my gut instinct by packing a few tiny baby babygros in my hospital bag. Which was lucky because our June baby surprised us by coming early and becoming a May Bank Holiday Baby instead!!

Hope you have had a fantastic Bank Holiday Weekend. Now that summer is almost here keep your eyes peeled for our new summer stock coming to our store soon. Think light, delicate cotton pieces ideal for summer holidays, and for keeping new babies cool. The romper suit will definitely be my pick of the season!
